These terms cover the use of this website and the general basis on which Istrukturà takes on work. Every project is also governed by its own signed quotation and contract, which takes precedence over anything on this page.

Using this site
The content here is provided for information. Project descriptions, timelines and specifications describe completed work and are not an offer or a guarantee of the same result on another site. We may change or remove content at any time without notice.
Enquiry forms are for genuine project enquiries. Please do not use them for unsolicited marketing.
Quotations and pricing
Quotations are line-itemed and valid for thirty days from issue unless stated otherwise. Prices are based on the drawings, specifications and site conditions known at the time of quoting.
Conditions that could not reasonably be seen at the first visit, such as structural defects, hidden services or moisture behind finishes, are excluded until they are opened up and assessed. Where they affect cost, we will price the additional work and get your written approval before proceeding.
Payment
Projects are paid in staged instalments set out in the signed quotation. A downpayment confirms the booking and releases material procurement and fabrication. Subsequent stages fall due as the corresponding work is reached.
Materials ordered specifically for a project are non-refundable once fabrication has started. Work may be paused where a due stage payment is outstanding, and the schedule extends accordingly.
Schedule and site access
Programme dates are our honest estimate and assume continuous access to the site, working utilities, and approvals or permits obtained by the client where these are their responsibility.
Delays caused by weather, building management restrictions, supplier shortages or client decisions still pending extend the programme by the time lost. We will tell you as soon as we know.
Variations
Changes requested after the drawings are signed off are quoted as variations, with their cost and schedule effect stated before work begins. Nothing is charged as a variation without your written approval.
Changes to items already fabricated or installed are charged at the cost of the original work plus the replacement.
Materials and finishes
Timber, stone and other natural materials vary in grain, tone and figure. Samples indicate character rather than an exact match, and reasonable variation is not a defect.
Where a specified item becomes unavailable, we will propose the closest equivalent for your approval before substituting it. Appliances and third-party products carry their manufacturer's warranty, which we pass through to you.
Handover and defects
At handover we walk the space with you and agree a snag list. Items on that list are cleared before the project is closed out.
Our own workmanship on joinery and installation is covered for twelve months from handover. The cover excludes normal wear, damage from misuse or accident, movement caused by water ingress or building settlement, and work altered by others after handover.
Drawings and photography
Drawings, renders and specifications we produce remain our intellectual property. They are issued for use on your project and may not be passed to another contractor for pricing or construction without our written consent.
We photograph completed work for our portfolio and social media. Tell us before handover if you would prefer your project not to be published, or published without identifying details, and we will respect that.
Cancellation
If you cancel after a downpayment but before fabrication begins, we return the balance of the downpayment less design time already spent and any materials already ordered.
If you cancel once fabrication or site work has started, the work completed to that point, together with committed materials, is chargeable. We will set this out in writing before issuing a final account.
Your information
Details you send through the enquiry form, by email or by message are used to respond to you and to run your project. We do not sell them or pass them to anyone outside the people working on your job.

Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. We would always rather settle a disagreement by talking it through first, and we ask that you raise anything with us directly before taking it further.
